Winter Forest. No. 11
Wednesday, December 23, 2020 Colonia Condesa, CDMX Winter Forest was our 11th  intervention for #ReinventingVandalism, the shortest and most difficult.Unfortunately, many people think differently from us. There are times when it feels like the loudest voices are those that hate and not those that love. We intended to brighten up the city, but in the end, it only lasted a couple of hours.Unfortunately, the neighbors didn't like it and removed it.We took on the task of finding a home for each of these 42 trees we decorated. Today, they are being enjoyed by families who wanted to light up their homes. This 11th intervention was full of gifts for everyone. Thanks to all who donated gifts and helped us with the installation.@merkaba.abrigos, @jaimekohen, Fran Rocha, @madagon , @fersomor and @mariana_arriaga. Obstacles will always be there, but so will motivations. Despite everything, there was magic that day. We had the opportunity to give these beautiful coats to the people passing by.Thanks @merkaba.abrigos There are always flowers for those who want to see them.

Historic Center, Mexico City No. 8 & 9
Thursday, August 06, 2020, 6:00 a.m. Bellas Artes, Historic Center, CDMX. It's been a while since the 7th intervention. This time, we decided to intervene one of our favorite places, the Art Nouveau arch of the Bellas Artes subway station. For 22 years, the Bellas Artes subway station has had an arch that imitates the mythical Art Nouveau designs of the Gallic architect Hector Guimard, who designed the original entrances for the Paris subway stations. After finishing this intervention, we went to República de Guatemala Street, in front of Hotel Círculo Mexicano, where we intervened a bench by Leonora Carrington. Six faces of magicians playing at being a bench are surrounded by floral art. Finally, we placed floral shoots over the potholes in the street. Messages that life gives us about the wonderful cycle of falling, sprouting, and being reborn.

Friday, June 3, 2020, 5:00 a.m. Condesa, CDMX. A classic car at Veracruz and Guadalajara streets in Colonia Condesa was the seventh intervention of #ReinventandoElVandalismo. This car is particularly special; it is an intervention by the artist Betsabeé Romero, which she titled Tinplate Memories. Upon closer inspection, you'll notice the features that define it as a wind-up toy with a key on the side, cartoonish wheels, and a tinplate driver.

Friday, June 26 6:00 a.m. Río de Janeiro Park, Colonia Roma   This park in the middle of the great Mexico City is an incredible place to spend a great time alone or with company. This is the 6th intervention of #Reinventandoelvandalismo, a different kind of intervention. Juan José is in charge of this fountain and lent it to us so we could place the fresh and dried flower arrangements. This intervention was very special for us. That day, we celebrated our founder Sofía Rivera's birthday early. That's why we left different crowns around the intervention so that we could all celebrate a great day, crowned together.

Friday, June 5, 2020 5:00 a.m. Colonia Juárez. We feel great respect and inspiration in this corner of Colonia Juárez. There you will find Niddo and Tziki, creations of Karen and Eduardo. Everything they have created seems beautiful to us. Not only do they put their heart and soul into everything they cook, they also have impeccable aesthetics and pay attention to every detail. This demanded that we #reinventelvandalismo in a special and authentic way. They were already there when we arrived at 5:00 a.m., cooking and working to share that sweetness with everyone who approached the little window where they continue to offer their services. There will always be flowers for those who want to see them.
