It is located in the Colonia Centro of Mexico City, on Bucareli Avenue and Emilio Donde Street, in a large building that spans an entire block. This is the Gaona Building, designed in the early 20th century by architect Ángel Torres Torija and commissioned by bullfighter Rodolfo Gaona.

The Gaona Building is one of the first and few examples of mixed-use (housing and commercial) multi-family housing in Mexico, and boasts a colonial-style façade that is as vivid as it is authentic. With the Mártires de la Conquista project, Sofía Rivera seeks to restore the life it had in its heyday.

Thanks to AD México and Pepé Molina.
